While automation isn't a new trend, it's become a lifeline for companies struggling to satisfy demand in a current tight market, according to the Wall Street Journal. According to the Association for Advancing Automation, robot orders climbed by 40% in the first quarter of 2022 and by 21% overall in 2021, bringing the industry's value to $1.6 billion.
